| Description | •Basic web designer skills, such as: •Knowledge of Adobe web premium package (mainly on Photoshop / Dreamweaver/ Flash/ illustrator/ Fireworks) •Knowledge of EDM creation process •Basic understanding of programming language (as in those C++ / Javascript etc) •Strong creative thinking and concept development •Design art and copy layouts for visual presentations and artistic concepts that engage, attract and convey the marketing message •Take design briefs and implement themaccording to brand and marketing goals •Develop concepts and graphic design elements for products and businesses such as conferences and events •Cooperate with on-air graphics team to ensure that brand communications are consistent with the brand image through the line •Cooperate with the design team in US to adapt materials for use in Asia eg. Template for case studies and credentials presentation and ensure there is brand consistency across all materials developed •Accountable for deliverables and overall quality and design consistency of work product •Manage the execution of all creative deliverables inline with project scheduleand deadlines •Contribute to the standardization and streamlining of creative documentation and processes •Steer projects through production/pre-press process •Preparation of PDF's and other digital files for uploading to FTP server, cd burning or for archival and distribution purposes. •Has an understanding of social media and how the medium works •Efficient and capable of working within deadline – being a news channel, we often have to execute creatives with very short lead-time. |
| Education | Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Advertising/Media, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent. |
| Experience | •At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. |

| IT knowledge | •Proficient computer skills, especially Mac Software - InDesign, QuarkXpress, Aldus Freehand, Photoshop, Adobe CS programs (add skills as listed above) •Expertise in graphic design and rich media across a multitude of tools and applications to concept, design, implement and expand upon creative ideas in advertising, campaigns, banners, landing pages, etc, a plus eg. FLASH, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and other areas and software |
