| Description | Analyze, design, implement and test automation and process control software. Optimization of existing solutions and create new systems software to improve the performance of equipment according to customer expectations. Provide software support and corrective actions for field issues in-house or at customer site. Carry out good software engineering practice of requirement analysis, design, implement, test and release with good documentation. Interdisciplinary cooperation within global projects. |

| Experience | Technical Skills Minimum 2-year hands-on experience in PC or embedded system software programming in VB6. Minimum 3-year hands-on experience in PC or embedded system software programming in C/C++/C#. Practical knowledge on Windows-based system software development. Practical knowledge on embedded automation software development. Experience in software testing and troubleshooting is a must Experience in other programming skills is a plus Database skills : SQL, Access Microsoft Certification or working knowledge on .Net Platforms Methodology knowledge of OOA and OOD Visual Studio IDE 6, 2005, 2008 Defect Tracking System/Tools Software configuration System/Tools Domain Knowledge in the following areas would be an added advantage: HardDisk/Electronic assembly & packaging system Vision Inspection System : Cognex, Camson Project management Good conceptualization skills are needed when work on interdisciplinary automation projects. Soft Skills To be able to maintain cultural-sensitive attitude when work in an a multi-cultural team To be able to work independently or in a team. Can be both a good team member or a team leader as required Travelling Requirement May be required to travel for onsite commissioning and support. |
